We are thrilled to welcome two new PhD students, Karoline and Jana, to the Applied Systems Biology group! Having successfully completed their master’s theses with us, they are now embarking on exciting doctoral journeys. Karoline brings her expertise in modeling organ-on-chip systems, while Jana contributes her skills in machine-learning based surrogate modeling, both backed by rich experience in agent-based modeling. Their addition will be a valuable boost to our modeling subgroup, and we look forward to their contributions. Welcome aboard, Karoline and Jana!
