The Cluster of Excellence “Balance of the Microverse” and the research group Applied Systems Biology (Prof. Marc Thilo Figge) invite applications for a doctoral researcher position starting on January 1, 2026 (65%, TV-L E13, 3.5 years).
The project is part of the collaborative initiative MIRAGE, focusing on organ-on-chip models of host–microbiome interactions. The doctoral candidate will work on automated image processing with JIPipe, aiming to uncover how microbial metabolites influence infection and inflammation dynamics.
